Mrs. Gertrude Neuman

UNITY--Mrs. Gertrude Neuman, 63, of route 1, Unity, Wisconsin, died Saturday morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Daniel Elmhorst, of Neillsville. Death was due to a heart attack.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at St. John's Lutheran Church in Riplinger. The Rev. David Ault will officiate, and burial will be made in St. John's cemetery.

Visitation may be made at the Lulloff Funeral Home in Colby beginning at 1 p.m. today.

The former Gertrude Roohr was born Jan. 20, 1910, in the town of Beaver in Clark County and was married there June 20, 1929, to Lawrence Neuman, who survives her.

She had lived her entire married life in Unity, except for the past three months while she had been a resident at the Memorial Home in Neillsville.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons, Duane Neuman, Unity, and Glendon Neuman, McHenry, Ill.; two daughters, Mrs. Gary Levenhagen, Troy Center, and Mrs. Daniel Elmhorst, Neillsville; a brother, Adam Roohr, a resident of the Neillsville Memorial Home; a sister, Mrs. Paul Hein, Owen; 16 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Two brothers and two sisters preceded her in death.
