Burgess Rites Held at Colby

Former Unity Man Dies in Minnesota

Unity--Funeral services for George H. Burgess, native and former resident of Unity, were conducted by Rev. R. W. Claybough in the Lulloff Funeral Home at Colby at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon. Burial followed in the Colby (Colby, Clark Co. Wis.) Cemetery.

Mr. Burgess died Oct. 11 at the age of 85 in the Moose Antler Resort at Virginia, Minn. where he had made his home the past three years.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Bruno Mietzel, Virginia, Minn., Mrs. Leroy Starr, San Diego, Calif., two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
