Funeral services for Jean Elizabeth Crosby, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fredric W. Crosby, La Crosse, were conducted on Thursday afternoon, March 2, at Christ Episcopal Church, La Crosse. Father Vinter, rector of the church, officiated.

Jean was born on October 14, 1933, at La Crosse. She had been ill about two years, and passed away February 29, 1944. She is survived by her parents and two little sisters, Mary and Ann, and by her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. L. T. Hill, Sparta, and Judge and Mrs. Emery W. Crosby, Neillsville.

Little Jean was a lovable child, a brilliant student, and was a favorite among her friends, her playmates, and her teachers. She offered visited here at the home of her grandparents and had many friends in Neillsville.
