Raymond Firnstahl came up from Madison to spend Thanksgiving with his parents.

Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Gottschalk are visiting relatives in Green Lake county this week.

Charley Carpenter of Stetsonville, visited with his Colby relatives and friends, this week.

Wenzel Pivernetz, county superintendent of schools of Marathon county died at the Wales sanatorium Tuesday.

Jake Werner and son Arthur left this morning for a visit with relatives and friends in Sheboygan and Plymouth.

The Thanksgiving dance was a complete success, and the music by Johnston’s orchestra of six pieces, was the best ever.

Ben Riplinger and family returned home from Milwaukee, last week. His eye is on the gain, for which he and his friends are thankful.

The Keystone Colored Comedians, who will be with Dr. Ben Tanner’s Entertainers this season, have arrived. The opening performance will be at opera house in this city, Friday, Saturday and Sunday evening. Don’t miss seeing Tanner’s Entertainers.

A number of town of Green Grove people, and Mr. and Mrs. Frank Meyer and children and Mrs. F. Stecker and sons surprised Mr. and Mrs. Fred Stecker, Saturday evening, in honor of Fred’s 27th birthday. A bountiful supper was served at midnight after which the guests departed for home wishing Fred many returns of the happy day.
