Thorp--Services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Bernard's Catholic Church, Thorp, for Steve Jenkot, 74, Thorp, who died Thursday at his home.

Burial will be in Old St. Hedwig's Cemetery, Thorp. Military graveside rites will be conducted by American Legion Post No. 118.

Visitation will be at Thorp Funeral Home from 3-9 p.m. today, where a rosary service will be at 5.

He was born in Thorp and farmed in the area until 1956. He then moved to Granton and worked as a carpenter. He moved back to Thorp in 1977.

He was a veteran of World War II, serving in Europe.

Survivors include nieces and nephews.
