Keller, Henry (12 MAY 1870 - 17 OCT 1945)

Henry Keller passed away at the Owen hospital, Wednesday morning, Oct. 17, 1945. Funeral services will be held at St. Bernard’s Church at Thorp on Saturday morning. An obituary will be published next week.

Last rites were conducted by Father A.M. Muckerheide at St. Bernard’s Church at 9:30 Saturday morning for Henry Keller, who passed away at the Owen hospital, Oct. 17, 1945. He reached the age of 75 years, 5 months and 5 days.

The deceased was born in Slinger, Wis., on May 12, 1870. He was united in marriage to Edith Seipold on July 17, 1894 at Sherwood, Calumet Co., Wis.

He is survived by his wife and nine children: Frank, John, Joseph, Mathew and Anton of Thorp, Henry of Greenwood, William, U.S. Army, Reims, France, Mrs. Bernard (Mary) Zuraff, Milwaukee, Wis., and Mrs. Albert (Anne) Agen, Lancaster, Wis.. Sixteen grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren. One daughter, Mrs. Albert (Elizabeth) Wink, preceded him in death, Oct. 18, 1937.

He was laid to rest in St. Bernard’s Cemetery with the following acting as pallbearers: George Haas, Casper Haas, Mike Heiser, Gilbert Voelker, Emil Henke and William Huberty.

The out of town relatives who attended the funeral of Henry Keller on Oct. 20 were: Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Zuraff and sons of Milwaukee; Mrs. Albert Agen of Lancaster; Mr. and Mrs. Henry Keller Jr., and William, of Greenwood; Mr. and Mrs. George Seipold, Mrs. Clara Frank, Emma Seipold and Agnes Seipold of Antigo; Mr. and Mrs. Henry Van Duel and son Floyd, Mr. and Mrs. Ole Schilling of Colby, Wis.
