Mr. and Mrs. August Foemmel of the town of Fremont announce the engagement of their daughter, Violet, to T/Sgt. Walter Korth, son of Mr. and Mrs. Emil Korth of the town of York. Miss Foemmel is teaching in the Elmwood school at Owen. Sgt. Korth is a top gunner on a bomber and is an aerial engineer. He has completed 35 flying missions over Germany.
