James Frenette, son of Mr. and Mrs. L. VanLoo of Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.), and Miss Dorothy Czech, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Roman Czech of Thorp, were united in marriage by Rev. F. Piekarski at St. Hedwig’s Church on Wednesday morning, Jan. 23rd, 1946, at 10:00 o’clock. Reception followed the ceremony at the P.N.A. Hall, where guests assembled and enjoyed the event both afternoon and evening. Both of the young people attended the local schools and the groom was recently discharged from the U.S. Army with considerable foreign service to his credit. The couple enjoys a large circle of friends who join in extending best wishes.
