John Poppe, 58, passed away of a heart attack at his home in Marquette, Mich., on Thursday, April 18th, 1946.

Mr. Poppe, born and raised in Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.), was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Wm. E. Poppe. After his graduation from Thorp High School he taught school in this vicinity for a number of years, moving to Michigan about twenty-five years ago.

Funeral services were held at Marquette on Monday.
