Mrs. Solon Davis has been confined to her bed for several days, recovering from bruises and a hip injury, suffered when she fell while closing a window. Mr. and Mrs. Mark Smith and family of Greenwood, spent Saturday at the Davis home. Mr. Smith is a brother of Mrs. Davis.

Misses Evelyn Winter and Marjorie Hales left Sunday for Lake Forest, Ill., where they plan to stay for several weeks.
