Berg, Virginia (Marriage - 25 Aug. 1944)

Miss Virginia Berg of Waupun, Wis., was married last Friday to Sgt. James R. Barager, son of Mr. and Mrs. V. P. Barager, of Owen. The wedding took place at St. Katherine’s Episcopal Church in Owen, the ceremony being conducted by the rector, the Rev. R. Ortmayer. The bridesmaid was Lt. Joyce Barager, sister of the groom, and the best man was Henry Weddig, a close friend of the young couple. A reception was held in the V. P. Barager home.

The bride is a teacher, having taught at Humbird, Owen and Waupun. The groom was formerly associated with his father in publishing the Owen Enterprise. He is proceeding now to officer’s candidate school in Virginia after service in the Aleutians.
