Weaver, Stella C. (? - 6 AUG 1946)

Miss Stella C. Weaver, who resided in Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.) with her aunt and uncle, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Colby, some twenty-five years ago, passed away at St. John’s Hospital, Fargo, N.D., on Aug. 6th, 1946, following an illness of several months.

Miss Weaver was a graduate of Lawrence College, Appleton, Wis., and taught school in Thorp and vicinity before going to Fargo, where she had been a history instructor for the past 27 years.

She is survived by her sister-in-law, Mrs. Walter A. Colby, a nephew and four nieces of Ossining, N.Y., and two cousins in Ocala, Florida. Her brother Walter Colby died in October 1945.

Funeral service were held at the First Methodist Church in Fargo on Friday, August 7th and interment took place in Riverside Cemetery there.
