OWEN -- Winifred Klimpke, 83, of Owen, died Tuesday, May 6, 2008, at the Clark County Health Care Center, Owen.
Arrangements are pending at the Maurina/Schilling Funeral Home.

Winifred "Winnie" Mae Klimpke
DORCHESTER -- Winifred "Winnie" Mae Klimpke, 83, died Tuesday, May 6, 2008, at the Clark County Health Care Center Owen.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 10, 2008, at Maurina/Schilling Funeral Home, Dorchester, Wis. The Rev. Mark Neumann will officiate. Burial will be in Pine Hill Cemetery, Curtiss. Pallbearers will be Kenneth Klimpke, Shawn Podevels, Andy Johnston, Travis Zvolena, Todd Klimpke and Chris Klimpke.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
Winifred was born Jan. 10, 1925, in Cherokee, Marathon County, to Sydney and Flora (Coon) Dawson. She married Clarence Klimpke Sr., on Sept. 21, 1940. Winnie enjoyed woodworking, gardening sewing/quilting and spending time with family.
Winifred is survived by her children, Clarence (Mary) Klimpke Jr. of Dorchester, Roger Klimpke of Abbotsford, Connie (Dean) Smith of Spencer, Donna (Rick) Podevels of Colby, Nancy Johnston of Loyal, Kevin Klimpke of Loyal, Lori (Roger) Zvolena of Spencer; 20 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren; sisters, Marion Hoffman of Athens, Arlene Stahnke of Goodrich, Darlene Abbeglen of Fall River, Shirley Rose of Unity; and brothers, Bill Dawson of Milwaukee and Elmer Dawson, Rib Falls.
Winifred was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Clarence Klimpke Sr. on Nov. 13, 1997; sons, Ronald, Harold and Dennis Klimpke; three infants; granddaughter, Karen "Klimpke" Ludwig; sisters, Marcella Bunkleman, Susie Frahm; and brothers, Tom, Martin and Raymond Dawson.
Maurina/Schilling Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
