Donald Kirchoff, 61, of Neillsville died Sunday, May 11, 2008, at Memorial Health and Rehabilitation Center, Neillsville.

Donald Lee Kirchoff was born March 9, 1947, in Racine to Raymond and Ethel (Batty) Kirchoff. He married Connie Roohr on June 19, 1965, in Racine. In 1988, they moved to Neillsville. Don was forced to retire from Nelson Muffler in 1994 due to his health.

He is survived by his wife, Connie; five children, Shawn (Marty) Kirchoff of Columbus, Ohio, Shane Kirchoff of Kansas City, Mo., Shannon (David) Johnson of Flint, Mich., Shelby (Sandy) Kirchoff of Nagani, Mich., and Donald (Chris) Kirchoff Jr. of River Falls; 13 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; his step-father, Robert Wampole; siblings, Ray "Butch" Kirchoff of Fairchild, Dave (Jeannie) Kirchoff of Augusta, Kenny (Cindy) Kirchoff of Nekoosa, Marcia (Glen) Health of Racine and Linda (Jim) Reetz of Neillsville.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 14, 2008, at the Gesche Funeral Home in Neillsville.

Visitations will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday and 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
