Haderer, Catherine (30 Oct. 1879 - 23 Mar. 1945)

Mrs. Catherine Haderer, aged 65 years, died March 23 at the home of her son, Ollie, in Chicago, after an illness of about a year. Death was attributed to heart trouble. Funeral services were conducted at 8:30 Monday morning at St. Mary’s Catholic church, Neillsville, the Rev. Fr. J. A. Biegler, pastor of the church, officiating. Burial took place in Marshfield. Arrangements were in charge of the Schiller-Terhune funeral home.

The deceased was born Catherine Linster, the daughter of the late Nicholas and Margaret Linster, on October 30, 1879, in Germany. At the age of six years, she came with her parents to America. They settled on a farm in the town of Weston, Clark county, and she grew to womanhood here. In 1897 she was married to Anton Haderer at Bakerville. They lived at Bakerville and Marshfield for several years. About 20 years ago she went to Chicago, where she has since resided.

She is survived by two sons, Ollie of Chicago, and Elmer of Silvis, Ill. Also surviving are four sisters and three brothers. The sisters are: Margaret, Mrs. Nollie Blau, Neillsville; Virginia, Mrs. Stewart Bolhuis, who resides in Florida; Susan, Mrs. Ben Thoma, Phoenix, Ariz.; Caroline, Mrs. Henry Kreis, Portland, Ore. The brothers areL N. J. Linster, Neillsville; Ollie Linster, Greenwood; Billy Linster, Holcomb, N.Y. Her husband and two brothers are deceased.

Ollie Haderer, Chicago; Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Haderer, Silvis, Ill., and Billy Linster, Holcomb, N.Y., were here for the funeral services. Pallbearers were: Linus Prock, Frank Reinhard, George Tibbett, Joseph Schield, Paul Skroch and Henry Wassenburger. A rosary service was held Sunday evening at the funeral home.
