Andrews, Anna (25 OCT 1859 - 14 OCT 1946)
Services were conducted by Rev. Rieber of Stanley for Mrs. Anna Andrews at the home on Friday afternoon, Oct. 18th at 2:00 o’clock. Mrs. Andrews passed away at her home on Oct. 14th of old age infirmities. She had reached the age of 86 years, 11 months and 19 days.
Anna Marie Munch was born in Ada, Sheboygan Co., Wis., on Oct. 25, 1859. She was united in marriage to Alexander Andrews at Plymouth, Wis.
The deceased is survived by six sons, Alfred of Clinton, Whidbey Island, Wash., Elias of Richmond, Calif., Robert of Cornucopia, Wis., Leonard of Lublin, Wis., Edgar of Gilman, Wis., and Dewey of Thorp; four daughters, Mrs. Harry (Blanche) Lake of Blackfoot, Idaho, Mrs. Percy (Viola) Smith and Mrs. Anton (Gertrude) Gulczynski of Thorp, and Mrs. Harold G. (Agnes) Schmidt of Ware, Iowa; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Dower, Alhambra, Calif., and Mrs. Gertrude Schemer, Chilton, Wis. Three brothers preceded her in death.
The body was interred at Riverside Cemetery, near Black River, beside her husband, who passed away in 1923. The six sons served as pallbearers.
