Harold Weber, 91, Abbotsford died Tuesday, April 15, 2008 at St. Joseph Hospital Marshfield.
Friends may call at the Maurina - Schilling Funeral Home Abbotsford from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, April 18.
Funeral Services will be held 7:00 p.m. Friday, April 18, at the Maurina - Schilling Funeral Home Abbotsford, Wis. Rev. Kenneth A. Dix will preside and burial will be at Abbotsford Public Cemetery.
Harold was born September 13, 1916, in Bruno Saskatchewan, Canada, to Fred and Elizabeth Weber.
He moved to Goodrich, Taylor County in 1918. About 1930, he moved to the Abbotsford area and ran a service station and garage.
Harold entered the US Army in 1945 and was honorably discharged in 1946.
He was employed at the Buick Garage in Colby, prior to joining his father at the Weber Radiator Shop on Fifth Street in Abbotsford, Wis. From 1980 until the time of his retirement, Mr. Weber was employed at Abbotsford Oil and Radiator Repair.
Harold was an accomplished machinist and tool & die maker. He enjoyed working on old cars, playing the accordion, violin, trumpet and reading.
He is survived by three cousins. Harold was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Helen Weber.
