Adams, Rudolph (1 DEC 1926 - 24 JUN 1945)

Funeral services were conducted Saturday afternoon from the Griebenow Funeral Home (Owen, Wisconsin) for Rudolph Adams, 18, son of Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Adams, residing three and one half miles northeast of Owen (Clark Co., Wis.).

The lad entered the military service in March 1945, and was training at his base in Washington, when word of his death was received by his parents. He was drowned while in line of service. His death occurring Sunday, June 24, 1945.

His body was brought here for burial, and Rev. C.S. Matthews conducted the service, after which the members of the Van Huizen Post of the American Legion buried him with military honors.
