Lokken, Tena (5 DEC 1866 - 7 AUG 1945)

Final rites will be read for Tena Lokken, 79, at the Evangelical Lutheran Church, Curtiss, at 2 p.m. August 10, 1945 by Rev. G. Borreson. Interment will be make in the family lot of the parish cemetery.

Mrs. Lokken had been a resident of the Town of Hoard (Clark Co., Wis.) for many years, until two years ago when she moved to Marshfield where she has since made her home with her daughter, Mrs. Frances Tuttle.

She was being cared for by her daughter as she had suffered for a long time of a lingering illness. A heart attack was the immediate cause of her passing away at the home of her daughter at 9 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 7, 1945.

She was a charter member of the Lutheran Church Ladies Aid at Church where she had served faithfully when her health had permitted. Her husband preceded her in death in March 1941, and a son Arthur. She is survived by a son, John, who resides on the home farm in the Town of Hoard, three daughters, Mrs. Edward (Matilda) Zelenski of Bruce, Mrs. Frances (Alma) Tuttle of Marshfield, and Mrs. Allen (Norma) Hawks of Curtiss, and by ten grandchildren.
