J. J. Ebben G.M. 2/c spent 25 days here with his wife and baby after 18 months on a destroyer in the Pacific. Mrs. Ebben and baby left with him for New London, Conn., where he will go to submarine school. Mrs. Ebben was formerly Margaret Slocomb, daughter of Ernie Slocomb.
