Charles (Coonie) Heaslett of Eau Claire was in Neillsville for a few hours last week. He is a passenger conductor, having a run to Duluth on the Omaha road. He resides in Eau Claire. He and Mrs. Heaslett were visiting his sister, Mrs. O. E Counsell, and he was shaking hands with old friends on the main streets. "Coonie" left Neillsville about 38 years ago. He has been working for the Omaha road continuously since that time. His father was William Heaslett, an old-timer in Neillsville, whose occupation was that of gunsmith.
