Kenneth W. Burzynski, age 52, of W16052 Cty. Hwy F, Thorp, WI passed away on Friday, April 25, 2008 in the Town of Taft. He was born in Stanley, WI on April 21, 1956, the son of Marion & Rose (Wincek) Burzynski. He grew up in the area, attending area schools, and graduating from Thorp High School.

He served in the U. S. Navy from1973 to 1977 as a firefighter. After his discharge he attended and graduated from Maplewood Community College in Kansas City, MO with a degree in Electrical Applied Science. He then worked for Northwest Airlines in Atlanta, GA and later in Duluth, MN as an AMP Mechanic.

On June 23, 2001, he was united in marriage to Susan Nichols in Atlanta, GA. In 2006, they moved to the Town of Taft in Taylor County where they have resided since.

Ken loved nature, especially birds, building bird houses and feeders for them. He will be sadly missed by his wife, Susan, and two dachshunds, Pee Wee and Sprig.

He is survived by his wife, Susan, of the Town of Taft; his father, Marion of Chippewa Falls, WI; one brother, Arnie, of Minnesota; two sisters: Loretta of Stanley, WI and Gloria (Pete) Meyer of Chippewa Falls, WI; and nephews: Jesse and Wesley Wampole.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Rose Burzynski; his brother, Danny; his sisters: Lillian and Shirley; and nephews: Kevin and Andy Wampole.

There are no services scheduled. The family requests that memorials be donated to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.

Plombon Funeral Service of Stanley, WI is assisting the family with arrangements.
