DYLAN MICHAEL BLOCH
Dylan M. Bloch, 4, of Neillsville died Monday, April 28, 2008, in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit of St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield.
Dylan Michael Bloch was born September 23, 2003, in Marshfield, the son of Robert and Cheryl (Meihak) Bloch. He was baptized at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Neillsville. Dylan loved chocolate milk, riding bike, swimming, planting gardens, feeding the cows, fishing, tool boxes, and playing with his sisters.
He is survived by his parents, Robert and Cheryl Bloch; two older sisters, Natalie and Morgan Bloch, both of Neillsville; his grandparents, Gary and Brenda Meihak and Aaron and Lori Bloch, also of Neillsville. He is further survived by great-grandparents, Walter and Marge Michalak, and Don and Ruth Meihak all of Neillsville, Floyd Heck of Greenwood and Arvada Bloch of Marshfield; an aunt, Melissa (Adam) Krause of Neillsville; and an uncle, Justin Bloch of Ft. Hood, TX.
Dylan was preceded in death by his grandmother, Judith Bloch; an aunt, Heather Bloch; great-grandfather, Harold Bloch; and great-grandmother Harriet Heck.
Funeral services for Dylan were held at 11 a.m. Friday, May 2, 2008, at the Assembly of God Church in Neillsville. Pastor Joe Weiers officiated. Burial was in Neillsville City Cemetery. Visitation was held from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, May 1, 2008 at the Gesche Funeral Home and also from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Friday morning prior to the service at the church.
Serving as casket bearers were Adam Krause and Justin Bloch.
The Gesche Funeral Home of Neillsville assisted Dylan’s family with arrangements.
