Free, June (Marriage - 29 July 1945)
June Free, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Free, Neillsville, became the bride of Milton Schoenfeld, son of Mr. and Mrs. Emil Schoenfeld, town of York, on July 29. The ceremony was performed at St. John’s Lutheran church, the Rev. William A. Baumann reading the ceremony.
The bride wore a white street-length dress and wore a shoulder corsage of red roses. Roses also adorned the white net Dutch bonnet which she wore. She was attended by Miss Betty Scherer and the best man was Sgt. Gordon Vine, who is home on furlough.
Only immediate relatives were in attendance at the wedding.
Supper was served for the immediate relatives at the Merchants hotel and in the evening a reception was held at the home of the bride.
The couple spent a week camping at Lake Arbutus.
Mrs. Ross Hunter, cousin of the bride, who lives at Tomah, was here for the wedding.
