Langrehr, Edith J. (Marriage - 18 Aug. 1945)
Miss Edith J. Langrehr, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Langrehr, Marshfield, and Richard R. Grassman, son of Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Grassman, Granton, were married Saturday, August 18, at the Methodist church, Marshfield, the Rev. Ellery J. Beal performing the double-ring service.
The bride, who was given in marriage by her father, wore a suit of blue with white accessories. Her maid of honor was Pfc. Betty Lou Wix of the WAC. Pfc. Oscar Schmidt of Fremont was the groom’s attendant. Ushers were Richard Thiede and Garfield Freeberg of Granton.
After a wedding trip to northern Wisconsin, the couple will reside on a farm on route 3, Granton. The bride is a graduate of the Marshfield high school, and the groom of the Granton high school.
