Beaver, Marjorie (Marriage - 16 Oct. 1945)

Mr. and Mrs. Leo Frei, newlyweds, are now established on their farm near Neillsville.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. George Frei of Neillsville. The bride is Marjorie Beaver, daughter of Mrs. Anna Beaver of Loyal.

The couple was married at St. Anthony’s Catholic church in Loyal on Tuesday, October 16. The Rev. Aloys Zinthefer officiated.

The bride was attired in a white satin gown, trimmed with lace. Her long veil, edged with lace, was caught to a looped satin headdress, and she carried a heart-shaped bouquet of roses, surrounded with a lace fluting and tied with a white ribbon.

Her attendants were Miss Esther Beaver of Loyal, sister of the bride, and Mrs. George Papenkopf of Neillsville, sister of the groom.

The groom’s attendants were his brother, Edward Frei, and George Papenkopf of Neillsville.

A wedding reception was held at the home of the bride’s mother, followed by a dance at the Neillsville Armory.
