Singleton, Louise (Marriage - 21 Nov. 1945)
Word has been received here of the marriage of Russell J. Ferguson, son of Mr. and Mrs. F. J. Ferguson, Granton, to Louise Singleton of Roxhara, N.C.
The couple was married on November 21, at the home of the bride’s mother, Mrs. J. F. Singleton, in Roxhara. The Rev. R. C. Maness officiated at the double-ring ceremony.
The bride wore a sky blue suit with black accessories and a shoulder corsage of purple orchids.
The newlyweds spent their honeymoon in Danville, Va.
The groom is a graduate of the Granton high school and served over 2 ½ years in the army. He received the Purple Heart and the Bronze Star medal for gallantry in action. Prior to his induction he was employed by the American Stores Dairy company in Neillsville.
Mrs. Ferguson is a graduate of the Roxhara high school.
The couple plan to make their home in Wisconsin.
