Sternitzky, Frederick #2 (26 OCT 1806 - 25 OCT 1901)

Frederick Sternitzky was born in Germany Oct. 26, 1806, was married to Miss Selena Vitzey in 1831, came to America in 1840, and lived one year in Buffalo, N.Y. After that he made his home in Milwaukee for fifteen years, moving then to Clark County the year of the deep snow, forty-five years ago. The family consisted of ten children, eight sons and two daughters, of whom four sons and two daughters are living. Carl Sternitzky, his oldest son, died the 11th of January, 1900, followed five week later by his aged mother. The subject of this notice always lived with his son Henry, who is the youngest, and at whose home he finally died, Oct. 25th, 1901, aged 95 years, lacking one day.

His survivors are 4 sons, 2 daughters, 35 grandchildren and 57 great-grandchildren. The funeral was the largest ever held here, something over 100 teams in the procession.
