Blecha, Lee William (15 April 1915 - 9 Oct. 1943)
Greenwood - Memorial services for Lee Blecha, 29, ships cook, 2/c; who is officially declared deceased since October 9, 1943, were conducted at the Braun Settlement Reformed Church by the Rev. B. M. Fresenborg Sunday morning.
Relatives from way who attended the services were his uncles and aunts, Mr. and Mrs. John Vollrath of Chippewa Falls, and Mr. and Mrs. William Gerlach and son, Edward, of Christie.
Lee William Blecha, son of the late Mr. ad Mrs. Frank Blecha of Greenwood, was born in the town of Eaton on April 15, 1915. His father passed away December 26, 1918. Soon after the death of his mother on October 6, 1925 lee, with his brother and sister, lived with their aunt and uncle, Mr. and Mrs. James Metcalf.
Lee was confirmed and was a member of the Braun Settlement Reformed Church, and was the first casualty from this congregation. After graduating from the *Rest Cut off**
