Perko, Mary (? - 3 Dec. 1944)
Mrs. Joseph Perko, Sr., 64, died Sunday morning, Dec. 3, following a stroke.
Mary Hoehever was born in Jugo Slavia. She was married to Mr. Perko on May 7, 1900 in Pueblo, Colo. They came to Willard 32 years ago. They lived on a farm 3 ½ miles southwest of Willard.
She is survived by her husband, seven sons and two daughters, Mrs. Joseph (Olga) Zimmerman, Cleveland, Ohio; Mrs. Mary Landini of Chicago; Joseph of Eli, Minn.; Albert of Columbia, South America; Charles and Fred of Willard; Louise and Felix at home; Sgt. Edward Perko of the U. S. Army somewhere in Germany; 11 grandchildren, one brother, Joseph Hoehever of Pueblo, Colo.; one sister, Mrs. Joseph Mismas of Cleveland, Ohio.
One daughter, Annie, preceded her in death in 1916.
Funeral services were held Wednesday morning at the Holy Family Catholic Church in Willard. Interment was made in the parish cemetery.
