Jakobi, Frederick William (16 May 1867 - 1 Dec. 1944)
Frederick William Jakobi, 77, died at the Neillsville hospital Dec. 1 of a stroke.
He was born in Carver County, Minn., on May 16, 1867. He was married to Anna Mahlock in 1894 at Rhine and came to Wood County in 1897 and lived on a farm, coming to Clark County in 1900. In 1934 he retired and has since made his home with his son, Roland.
He is survived by his wife and eight children, William of Antigo; Conrad at home; Walter of Marshfield; Frederick of Spencer; Mrs. William (Margaret) Denzin of Abbotsford; John of Neillsville; Roland at home, Mrs. Vincent (Anita) Schmitt of Belgium; also 21 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Wednesday at 12:30 o’clock at the Roland Jakobi home and at 2 o’clock at the Veeflkind Lutheran Church. The Rev. Lloyd L. Lambert officiated. Interment was made in the Veefkind cemetery.
