Luepke, Norma Marie Clara (17 Apr. 1914 - 14 June 2008)

Norma M. Luepke, 94 of Spencer, died June 14, 2008, at the Golden Living Center Three Oaks at Marshfield.

Funeral services are pending. The Maurina-Schilling Funeral Home of Spencer is assisting Norma's family with arrangements.

Spencer, Wis. -- Norma M. Luepke, 94, formerly of Spencer, died Saturday, June 14, 2008, at Golden Living Center Three Oaks in Marshfield. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, June 19, 2008, at St. John's Lutheran Church, North Spencer. The Rev. Rebekah Tarras and grandson, the Rev. Mark Luepke, will officiate. Grandsons and great-grandsons will be pallbearers. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at St. John's Lutheran Church on Wednesday, June 18, 2008, and again one hour before services Thursday at the church.

Norma Marie Clara Andre was born to Robert and Anna (Zuehlke) Andre on April 17, 1914, in the town of Unity. She was baptized in St John's Lutheran Church May 10, 1914. Norma was confirmed at St John's Lutheran Church on May 15, 1927. Norma attended Willow Brook Elementary, St. John's Parochial School and graduated from Spencer High School in 1932. Norma married Emil Luepke on Sept. 26, 1934, at St. John's Lutheran Church. Norma and Emil celebrated their Golden wedding anniversary in 1984 and their 70th wedding anniversary in 2004. Norma is survived by her husband, Emil Luepke of Marshfield; children, Frank (Carol) Luepke of Sheldon, Iowa, David (Doreen) Luepke of Edgar, Cora (Tom) Wright of Concord, Calif., Philip (Julie) Luepke of Stoddard; 14 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren; a brother, Robert (Doris) Andre of Neenah; daughter-in-law, Carole Luepke of Marshfield; and sister-in-law, Eleanore Luepke of Marshfield.

Norma was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Richard; sisters, Leota Schwantes, Cora Andre, Hilda Weber and Clara and Louise Andre in infancy.

Maurina-Schilling Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
