Thank you for sharing this. I have been working on a KOBS genealogy off and on for years. I am a great-granddaughter of Albert Reinhold Kobs (1859-1922) and Augusta C.W. Schultz (1857-1927). I believe Hugo would have been my first cousin twice removed.
I have also been working on a KLESSIG genealogy. I am a great-granddaughter of Gustav Klessig (1851-1906) and Marie Gieseler (1855-1923). I believe Ella Ida Klessig, wife of Hugo Carl Paul Frederick Kobs, would have been my second cousin twice removed.
