Decorah, Elmer (29 July 1928 - 15 Aug. 1945)
Elmer Decorah, 17, of the town of Levis, died at 8:40 a.m. on August 15 at the Lake View Sanitarium at Madison. Funeral services were held Sunday, August 19, at the Decorah residence at Dells Dam, and burial was made in the Indian cemetery near there. The Rev. Ben Stucki officiated.
Elmer Decorah was born in Necedah July 29, 1928, to Allen Decorah and Katherine Thompson Decorah. He had been a resident of Clark county all of his life. He attended the Indian Mission school in Neillsville until the condition of his health made it impossible. He was a faithful associate of the Evangelical and Reformed church.
He is survived by his parents, and one brother, Kelly L. Decorah, five years.
