Leatherdale, Mary (24 Nov. 1866 - 17 Aug. 1945)

Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Leatherdale, 78, were held Monday afternoon, August 20, at the Methodist church, Loyal. The Rev. M. E. Taylor officiated and burial took place in the family lot at Loyal. Mrs. Leatherdale died August 17 at St. Joseph’s hospital, Marshfield, where she had been a patient for two weeks.

Mrs. Leatherdale was born in Ohio, November 24, 1866. She was married in 1887 at Spokeville, to Othell Leatherdale, who died in 1933. They resided in Loyal many years, and she continued to live there after her husband’s death, until her health failed, when she went to live with her son, Burton, at Fifield. Surviving beside her son is a grandson, who is in army service in Germany.
