Curry, Berndaine E. (Marriage - 30 Sept. 1944)
Announcement has been made of the marriage on September 30, of Miss Bernadine E. Curry and Tech. Sgt. Erwin E. Langfeldt, at the home of the bride’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Curry, Armington, Ill. Sgt. Langfeldt is a son of Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Langfeldt, Loyal.
The bride’s sister, Miss Vivian Curry, was maid of honor, and a brother of the groom, Clarence Langfeldt, Davenport, Ia.; served as best man. Little Sharon Langfeldt, niece of the groom, was flower girl.
The bride is a graduate of the Illinois State normal school and has taught the past two years. The groom is a graduate of the Colby High School and has been in army service since April, 1941. He retuned to the U. S. recently after 32 months’ service overseas with the army air forces. He will report to Miami, Fla., on October 16 for reassignment.
Relatives form Greenwood and Loyal attended the wedding.
