Coffin, Doris (Marriage - 20 Oct. 1944)
Mr. and Mrs. A. G. Coffin, Elvea, Wis., announce the marriage of their daughter, Miss Doris Coffin, to Sgt. Arne J. Schwellenbach, son of Mr. and Mrs. William Schwellenbach, Milwaukee, Wis. The ceremony was performed October 20, in St. Mary’s recovery, Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
The bride wore a soft lavender wool jersey dress. Pale pink roses and pompon mums made her corsage.
Ione Schwellenbach, sister of the groom, was maid of honor.
Mrs. A. G. Coffin, mother of the bride, and Mr. and Mrs. William Schwellenbach, were present.
Following the ceremony a wedding dinner was served at the home of the groom.
The young couple are graduates of the Neillsville High School. The bride has been recently employed as stenographer at the Eau Claire Electric Co. The groom has recently returned from the Southwest Pacific after 30 months’ duty.
The newlyweds are spending their honeymoon with relatives and friends in Neillsville, the bride’s parents in Eleva, and the bride’s sister and family in Eau Claire.
