Smith, Vivian Mrs. (Marriage - 1 Nov. 1944)
Announcement has been made of the marriage of Lieut. William H. Hill to Mrs. Vivian Smith of Nashville, Tenn. The wedding took place Nov. 1 at Portland, Ore., where the mother of Lieut. Hill, Mrs. Beatrice Hill, now resides. The wedding took place in Trinity Episcopal Chapel.
Lieut. Hill is the son of Mrs. Hill and the late Guy D. Hill, who was for seven years manager of the Northern Power Co in Neillsville. The young man completed grade school in Neillsville; then attended the University of Minnesota and eventually graduated from officers’ school at Fort Monmouth, N. J. From there he was sent to Portland, Ore., to teach radar, and alter to Camp Campbell, Ky. There he is attached to an armored forced, which is preparing for foreign duty.
After the wedding Lieut. Hill returned to Camp Campbell, and his bride went to her parents in Nashville for the duration. She is a graduate of Peaboy College Nashville.
Mrs. Beatrice Hill, the mother is an accompanist fro the bureau of parks in *[Rest blurred.]
