The senior class play of Withee High school will be given Dec. 13.
The annual Christmas party of the Owen band and orchestra mothers was held Monday evening at the home Ec. Cottage.
The Eugene Sullivans, formerly of Owen have had a week’s visit from their mother and sister, Mrs. Clarence Mathewson and Mrs. Celand Melbinger. The Sullivans are now conducting a newspaper at Sheffield, Ia.
Mrs. Edward Pape is now back in Owen with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Roller. Her husband an ensign in the navy is now out on active service. The two had been living at Fall River, Mass.
Mrs. L. E. Bulgrin is now at home after hospital treatment.
Jackie Pease of Curtiss is undergoing medical treatment at Wisconsin General Hospital. He and his mother, Mrs. George Pease, were taken to Madison by her bother, Fritz Laabs.
F. W. Laabs is at this Curtiss home again, after a month’s absence in the west.
Mrs. August Brandt, 74, is dead and has been interred at Riverside. She and her husband, who survives have five children, developed a modern dairy farm 1 ½ miles west of Withee.
