Mr. and Mrs. F. Ewald autoed to Riplinger Saturday.

Quite a few cases of the grippe are reported at this writing.

Born to Mr. and Mrs. Ed Hendrickson on New Years day, a son.

H. D. Creed and son Jack spent Tuesday afternoon in our village.

Maynard Matteson is confined to the house with a severe case of the grippe.

Ferdinand Ewald and Wm. Berg autoed to Greenwood Tuesday on business.

Claude Nelson of Marshfield spent a few hours in our village last Saturday evening.

Quite a few from here attended the New Year ball at Spencer last Monday evening.

Miss Amy Creed came up from Spencer Wednesday, to spend a few days with relatives.

Mrs. Wm. Creed spent New Years day with her husband at St. Joseph’s hospital at Marshfield.

Louie Glaman of Marshfield was the guest of relatives and friends here Sunday afternoon.

Mrs. Cullen Ayers went to Riplinger Monday to visit her daughter, Mrs. Art Wisnosky, a few days.

Miss Georgine Thompson of Colby, was the guest of her friend Miss Laverna Perschke, over Sunday.

Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Zimmerman of Tomah, spent a few days here with the latter’s sister, Mrs. John Noth.

Miss Marlea Damuth, who teaches at Black River Falls, was the guest of friends here at the Nelson Hotel.

Mrs. Wm. Yahr, Mrs. Geo. Nickel and H. H. Kuehling spent New Years day with friends at Spencer.

Geo. Cook and J. H. Vogt are attending the annual meeting of Marathon county board at Wausau this *** Note: The remainder of this article was missing.
