C. H. Ravy of Curtiss was here on business Sunday.

Ollie Garvue of Stevens Point, was a visitor here over Sunday last.

Fr. Joe Schuster is doing missionary work at Wausau this week.

Mrs. L. W. Underhill of Chippewa Falls, visited friends here Tuesday.

Viola Babler of Stevens Point Normal, visited at her home last Thursday.

Mrs. M. Hosterman went to Hartford, Wisconsin, Tuesday for a few days visit.

Mrs. L. Bruno and son Basil of Thorp, were business callers here last Saturday.

Wm. Berry has taken charge of the meat market recently conducted by his brother Ed.

Miss Foy Brown of Weston, arrived here last Friday evening when our new street lights were turned on.

Aug. Strebe is visiting his son Ralph at La Crosse this week. Ralph is a student at the Wisconsin Business University.

Mrs. Ray Hosterman returned to her home at Watersmeet, Michigan, Monday, having visited her mother, Mrs. M. Hosterman, several days.

A brakeman name Davis of Superior, was instantly killed while making a coupling on train 901 a few miles south of Superior, last Friday.

Mrs. O. H. Groelle returned to her home here after spending the winter months with her husband at Milwaukee, where he is employed as a salesman.

The preliminary declamatory contest of the local high school will be held at the high school assembly room Thursday evening. There are nine girls entered in the declamatory contest and three boys in the oratorical part.

H. R. Gardiner has resigned as traveling salesman for the Webe Candy Co. of Milwaukee, and has accepted a permanent position in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He has advertised that his home here is for sale as he will *** Note: The remainder of this article was missing.
