Mills, Loretta (Marriage - 01 April 1933)
MILAN BOY TO WED COLORADO GIRL
Herbert Brown, son of Charles Brown of the Town of Johnson, and Miss Loretta Mills of Long Mont, Colorado, were quietly married at Waukegan, Ill., Saturday April 1, 1933. Miss Mills coming from her home met Mr. Brown in Chicago that day.
Herbert has grown to manhood in this vicinity and is a fine young man of splendid character and humorous disposition and has many friends here. He served in the World war and was gassed. Upon his return from France, where he had spent some time in a hospital, he went to Colorado to regain his health. It was while there he met Miss Mills and their friendship soon ripened into love, resulting in the marriage which joins these two worthy young people.
The bride is a stranger to the people here but is rapidly becoming acquainted with Herbert’s large circle of friends, the newlyweds having arrived here after visiting several days with relatives in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. They will spend the summer here with the groom’s father and also his brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Brown. They will then return to Colorado where they expect to make their future home.
The Sentinel joins with Herbert’s host of friends in wishing he and his bride the best that this life may give.
