Meske, Albertina (14 APR 1856 - 19 JULY 1933 )

Mrs. Albertina Meske, 77, died at the home of her son, Fred Meske, Jr., here at 6:15 a. m. yesterday after an illness of two years. She suffered from cancer.

Funeral services will be held on Friday at 1:30 from the home of her son, and burial will take place at the town of Holton cemetery, the Rev. J. Brandt will officiate.

Mrs. Meske was born in Hammerschtein , Prussia , Germany on April 14, 1856 and was married to Fred Meske at Latine , Germany , April 18, 1883 . They came from Germany to the town of Holton in 1885 and cut their farm from the virgin timber.

Mrs. Meske is survived by her husband, one son, Fred, and a daughter Mrs. Augusta Zenitski, six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
