Langfeldt, Joyce #2 (?1941 - 16 MAR 1944)

Joyce Langfeldt, 2-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Langfeldt, 5 miles southwest of Withee, died at 10:45 Thursday night at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Marshfield, the result of third degree burns suffered to her back and legs in a fall in a tub of hot water being used for washing. She was taken to the hospital on Tuesday.

Surviving besides her parents are a sister, Vivian; two brothers, Wilfred and Delbert.

Another sister, Donna Mae, was killed Aug. 13, 1942, when she was run over by a truck in the Langfeldt farm yard. She was three years old.

Funeral services were conducted Sunday afternoon from the German Lutheran church in Reseburg, and interment took place in the Greenwood cemetery.
