Lehmann, Otto (29 DEC 1870 - 17 MAR 1944)
Funeral services were conducted Wednesday afternoon from the Griebenow Funeral Home (Owen, Wisconsin), for Otto Lehmann, whose death occurred at the Legault hospital, Friday, Mach 17, after a lingering illness. The Rev. R. E. Ortmayer, vicar of St. Katherine’s church officiating.
Otto Lehmann was born December 29, 1870, in Germany and came to this country when a young man. He has resided on his farm 5-1/2 miles west of the village of Withee for the past forty years. His wife preceded him in death a year and a half ago.
He was the father of eleven children, three having preceded him in death. Those surviving are five daughters, Mrs. Jo. Ferr, Whitewater, Wis., Mrs. Verl Gilbert, Beloit, Mrs. Mary Smith, Waukesha, Mrs. Dorothy Humboldt, Pewaukee, and Mrs. Edna DeVoe, West Allis, and three sons, Herman, with the army overseas, Elmer in the U.S. army in Arizona and George of West Allis.
Interment took place in Riverside cemetery.
