Powe, Sgt. Eunice Jean (03 MAR 1944)
Sgt. Eunice Jean Powe, daughter of Major and Mrs. W. P. Powe, former residents of this city, was united in marriage Friday, Mar. 3 to S/Sgt. J. A. Sanders at Carlsbad, N. Mex. Eunice Jean graduated with the class of 1940 from the Owen high school, and was one of the popular young ladies of the class. She enlisted in the service more than a year ago. Both she and her husband are in the Supply Dept., in the Army, and will make their home at Carlsbad, N. Mex. They have the sincere good wishes for a happy wedded life by their Owen friends.
