Nesbit, Joseph (? - 28 MAR 1902)
Joseph Nesbit of Onalaska, Wis. died Friday, March 28th, 1902, death resulting from a stomach trouble of long standing. Mr. Nesbit was for many years superintendent of the Black River Improvement Association, and head man in all log driving operations on this river. It is a pathetic incident that his life ends on the year which closes the log driving on Black River. With his large frame and burly, hearty manner, one would have picked Joe as a man destined for a long life and a well preserved old age. J.F. Schuster went to Onalaska to attend the funeral.
