Boone, Nellie (JUN 1902)

(Aspen, Colo. Times)

For the past few weeks, there has been noticed a sort of a faraway, dreamy look in the optics of the Times reporter, Chas. La Bronte, but it has been attributed by the unwary an uninitiated to deep and profound study on his part for the concoction of some unusually brilliant "Scoop."

Even the substitute who took his position while he was gone mistook the symptoms, and what he thought was brain fag has proved to be love, love, love, that dreamy, potent spel that casts its golden fetters over the heads of the most hardened, and ropes and ties the hardiest in record breaking times.

Mr. Charles La Bronte and Miss Nellie Boone were quietly united in the holy bonds of matrimony at Provo, Utah, last Thursday morning. They are spending their honeymoon in fair Glenwood by the Grand, where the moonlight glints on the yellow waters of the hot water spring and the merry bathers plunge and shout from the recesses of the vapor cave, where the turtle dove sings sweetly to her mate, etc.

In selecting a life partner Mr. La Bronte has shown most excellent taste. Miss Nellie is a beautiful and accomplished young lady of charming manners, and more than one young man of Aspen feels that life is no longer worth living, now that the Times reporter has captured the winsome prize. During her brief residence in Aspen she has won a large circle of friends. She comes from the state of Wisconsin but for more than a year has made her home in this city.
