Debevec, Arlene K. #3 (26 MAR 1956 - 2 JUN 2008)
Arlene K. Debevec, 52, formerly of Willard, died on Monday, June 2, 2008, surrounded by her family at the House of the Dove Hospice Home, Marshfield. A gathering of family and friends to celebrate her life will be held at 9 a.m. on Saturday, June 7, at Holy Family Parish Center, Willard.
Arlene K. Debevec was born on March 26, 1956, in Neillsville, to Robert and Josephine (nee Gutt) Debevec. She attended Greenwood community schools and was a 1974 graduate of Greenwood High School. She also graduated from Chippewa Valley Technical College where she received an accounting degree. She later obtained a bachelor of science degree from Lakeland College. She had been employed at IBI in Osseo, Johnson Garment Company, Marshfield, and in the accounting department of the Marshfield Clinic Research Foundation. Lastly she had been employed for Winona County form September 2006 until the present time.
Survivors include her father, Robert Debevec, Willard; her sisters, Susan Debevec, Windsor, Conn., Sandra (Parks) Hisey, Carpentersville, Ill., Marjorie (Dave) Debevec-Marksteiner, Marshfield, and Laura (Darrell) Debevec-Schultze, Willard; a brother-in-law, Daniel Oelhalen, Neillsville; nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews, Sara (Jesse Marsh) Tytor, Stacy (Jamie) Petit, Nathan Tytor, Valerie (Jeff) Deegan, Ronald (Janelle) Thomas and their children, Ryan, Jaelyn, Kaytlin, Lauryn and Addisyn, Dave B. Thomas, April (Brad) Schmidt and their daughter Caleigh, Mica (John Mirenda) Debevec, Sasha Debevec- Mckenney and Evan Debevec-McKenney, and Sophie Maria, her standard poodle.
Preceding her in death were her mother, Josephine; her sister, Joanne Oelhalen; and her brother, Ronald Debevec.
The family will designate a memorial in her name at a later date.
