Lamovec, Henry L. (11 MAY 1920 - 2 JUN 2008)
Henry L. Lamovec Sr., 88, Eau Claire, died on Monday, June 2, 2008, at Dove Healthcare Nursing and Rehabilitation, Eau Claire. Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 21, at Holy Family Catholic Church, Willard, from 10 a.m. until time of a memorial service at noon. The Rev. Joseph Follmar will officiate.
Cuddie Funeral Home, Greenwood, is assisting the family with arrangements.

Henry Louis "Hank" Lamovec Sr., 88, passed away on Monday, June 2, 2008, at Dove Healthcare Nursing and Rehabilitation. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of memorial services at noon on Saturday, June 21, at Holy Family Parish, Willard.
Henry Louis Lamovec was born on May 11, 1920, to Frank Lamovec Sr. and Frances (nee Steblay) Lamovec. He served in the Civilian Conservation Corps in 1936 and 1937. He married Ann Koschak on Aug. 22, 1942, in Willard. They purchased and farmed the Lamovec homestead between Greenwood and Willard until 1978, when they moved to Eau Claire. They Belonged to Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Various jobs, family projects, outdoor activities and supporting handicapped hunting groups consumed his time after moving to Eau Claire. He enjoyed his family, fishing, hunting and always pursuing a larger buck.
Survivors include his wife of 66 years, Ann; his children, Phyllis (James) Anderson, Al (Kay) Lamovec, Henry (Jane) Lamovec Jr., and Ray (Cathy) Lamovec; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Preceding him in death were his parents; sisters Frances and Mary; and brothers, Frank, Alvin, and Phillip.
Memorials will be accepted and used to support handicapped hunting organized or a charity of your choice.
A heartfelt thank you to the Dove healthcare and hospice staffs.
